Over the years, I've tried everything short of surgery -- chriropractic, diet, heavy-duty prescription pain killers, etc. -- and although they each helped a little, the pain continued to grow worse until I could barely walk or hold myself erect without the aid of a walker.
Then, some months ago, I saw a TV ad for your compression belt. At first I dismissed it as just another device that wouldn't really do me any good.
But as the pain grew progressively worse, and the medications (Celebrex and Tramadol, for example) decreasingly effective, I bought the belt.
It's been a little over a week now that I've been wearing it, and even in that short time it's been nothing short of amazing.
Although the belt does not totally ELIMINATE the pain, it DOES go a long, LONG way to significantly REDUCING it to where I can now stand and walk comfortably without the aid of a walker or other person.
All I can say is, thank you! The unbearable pain has become significantly more bareable. Dr. Ho's device has become a blessing for me that I thank God for having received.
Just over a year ago, my sciatic nerve discovered me. I woke up one morning and felt rather stiff. Wrote that off to the way I was sleeping with my dog pushed up behind me. I was able to walk about a half block when the pain along my left leg became severe. Literally, I had to sit down on the sidewalk as it felt like I had been stabbed in several locations along my left leg. Five visits to an acupuncturist was able to get me walking again. For continued treatment, I would take the odd acupuncture treatment, massage and took up yoga to help build up strength and open up the back muscles. However, moving, lifting or walking for long distances can often bring about a new episode, albeit not as bad as the initial one.
I went cross country skiing and returned home to find that the outside of my upper thigh was starting to tighten up and a dull pain was commencing in the area. I tried Dr. Ho's muscle therapy for the first time. It was rather interesting to see the muscles contracting and releasing. I applied the pads to my thigh for twenty minutes and then placed them on my lower back for 45 minutes. About an hour later I noticed a significant decrease in pain. Later in the evening in hit me that I was feeling pretty good and was able to take the dog for a lengthy walk.
Now, whenever I feel pain and\or stiffness in my leg or back, I apply Dr. Ho's tens machine. It is proving to be remarkably effective in stopping the pain and getting me going again. This is proving to be extremely convenient as I do not have to spend the time and money to go for massage therapy or an acupuncture treatment on a regular basis. I have now integrated it into my treatment program. I have been so successful in treating my condition that a friend with similar issues is now planning to purchase his own unit.
I found Dr. Ho's system to be fool proof. It is extremely easy and safe to use. The enclosed DVD was very helpful and covers just about everything you need to know about its operation. It is compact and not cumbersome. The wires are long enough to reach any area of the body requiring treatment. I like the idea of the three timer settings which ensures you do not fall asleep with it on.
Suggestion - On\Off Intensity Adjuster - Make the dial a little stiffer to rotate in order to prevent it from moving by accident.
I would not have believed that such a small device operating on two AAA batteries would offer such relief and effectiveness. Nice job Dr. Ho!

2-in-1 Decompression Back Belt with FREE Magic Heat Pad
What is the Decompression Belt? How does it work?
Developed by back specialist Dr. Michael Ho, the Decompression Belt is unlike any other support belt, because it also provides clinical grade traction and decompression therapy. Decompression is a proven technique endorsed by medical professionals for back pain treatment. So now you can get relief for your back pain without drugs or surgery.
Just wrap the Decompression Belt firmly around you waist, attach the pump, and inflate the belt. As the belt inflates with air, it expands vertically, gently stretching and tractioning the lower back. This gentle traction helps decompress the spinal discs and stretch tight muscles.
Because the Belt fills with air, it is not bulky and very light, so you can wear this discreetly underneath your every day clothes. Wear it for just 30 minutes a day as a therapy belt. Or wear it all day while you work and play as an activity belt. You can even wear the Belt to get a restful night’s sleep. The dual purpose of the HoPhysio Belt allows you to not only get home physiotherapy, but also allows you to be active and do everything you’ve avoided.
People of all ages and all sizes, from young athletes to seniors, are getting fast, long-lasting back pain relief with the HoPhysio Belt. Remember, with the HoPhysio Decompression Belt, there’s no pills, no appointments, just less pain and less bills.
Does the belt fit a range of sizes? Are there different belt sizes? Is it one size fit all?
There are 2 different belt sizes – A and B. Each belt size fits a range of waist sizes, as indicated in the sizing chart.
Use pant or waist size to determine belt size

What happens if the belt isn’t the right size?
If the belt still doesn’t fit, or if it’s too big, just call our customer care centre to notify us and we will make arrangements to re-ship you a different size.
How long do I have to wear the belt for? Do I have to wear it throughout the day?
For the first week, it is recommended that you wear the belt 3-4 times a day for about 30 minutes each time. This allows your back to adjust to the effects of stretching and traction. After the first week, you can wear the belt for as long as you like. It is recommended you use it at least 30 minutes a day. You do not need to wear it throughout the day. But many people enjoy wearing while working or doing daily activities because it helps them be active with less pain.
Is it bulky? Can I wear it under my clothes?
No, the belt is not bulky at all. It is light and discrete, so you wear it under your regular clothing. Just wear the belt over a thin t-shirt or tank top, and then wear your regular shirt over top. In fact, a lot of people wear the belt throughout the day because their jobs or activities put a lot of strain on their back. The belt helps them be active and do activities without pain.
Why does the belt have to fit so firmly around the waist?
If the belt is not firmly wrapped around the waist, it may slip up and down when it is inflated with the air. When it is firmly wrapped around the waist, it doesn’t slip, so that way it can gently stretch and traction the lower back to help relieve your pain and tension.
What is the return policy? Is there a 30 day money back guarantee?
Yes, Dr. Ho is so confident that the belt will help your back pain that he has personally guaranteed it. If you don’t get relief from your back pain or if you’re just not satisfied, just return the belt within 30 days and we will be happy to give you a full product refund less S&H.
What is the warranty period on the belt?
Warranty period is 1 year. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Representatives at 1-877-374-6669.

Traction can also help relieve pressure and constriction off nearby nerves such as the sciatic nerve.
